    It is a matter of great pride to welcome you to the 2 nd Interdisciplinary Research Conference for One Health (IRCOH 2026). This conference represents a significant step toward strengthening interdisciplinary research, advancing translational research and development (R&D), and fostering a dynamic scientific ecosystem dedicated to addressing contemporary challenges at the interface of human, animal, and environmental health.
    The increasing complexity of global challenges—including emerging infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, environmental degradation, biodiversity loss, and climate-related health risks—demands integrated, evidence-based, and pragmatic approaches. The One Health paradigm provides a strategic framework for understanding these interconnected issues and developing sustainable solutions through collaborative research, technological innovation, and effective knowledge translation.
    IRCOH 2026 brings together leading scholars, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, industry representatives, development partners, and other key stakeholders to exchange knowledge, showcase scientific advancements, and identify opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration. Such platforms play a pivotal role in strengthening the research and innovation ecosystem, facilitating translational R&D, promoting technology transfer and the responsible commercialization of research outcomes, and ensuring that scientific discoveries are transformed into practical interventions, informed policies, and sustainable technologies that enhance public well-being, environmental sustainability, and economic resilience.

Addressing these multifaceted challenges requires expertise that transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries and promotes integration across health, agriculture, biotechnology, environmental sciences, and public policy.
