with over 15 years of comprehensive experience in both the IT industry and academia, my professional journey has been marked by significant contributions to cutting-edge projects within the Fintech sector. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of tackling some of the most challenging initiatives in the data space, including the implementation of IFRS17 standards for anti-money laundering, the development of gen-AI bots to enhance HR processes, and leveraging AI to reduce project could start time. My exposure to both academia and industry has afforded me a unique perspective on the disparities between theoretical knowledge and practical requirements in the field of data science. While the realm of data science stands out as one of the most demanding and lucrative domains within modern AI dynamics, it necessitates a specific set of skills to navigate successfully. Recognizing the existing gaps in skillsets required for this dynamic field, I have recently dedicated my efforts to bridging these divides and contributing to the evolution of data science in both academic and industrial contexts.
