Quantum computing is a sub-discipline of ‘Quantum Information Science’. It has two major applications quantum communication and quantum cryptography. It is a type of computing based upon quantum mechanics to perform operations on data. It possesses various properties like entanglement, superposition, interference and decoherence. It has revolutionized the way of computing by performing operations at the atomic/subatomic level with an exponential increase of parallel processing. Nowadays, quantum computing is extensively utilizing in authentication purpose. As the advances in processing power and computation capabilities are starting to saturate, with significant ramifications. Forty years prior after the invention of the silicon chip, Gordon E. Moore, the prime supporter of Intel, made an intense and original perception: "the intensity of PCs and their hardware multiplies every 18th month, and would proceed to twofold". This expectation depended on quickly propelling upgrades in transistors.
